Summary
Well this book is the last book of the collection, well not the last book the last book the last book of the first part of the collection. Well at this book what happens is that Percy and his friends of Camp Half Blood are making a army to fight with the army of the titans which is much more powerful. Well the Camp Half Blood was responsable to defeat Kronos army because the Olympians was occupied rampaging the terrible and powerful monster Typhon this was a big problem because as the most powerful gods that had already defeat Kronos wasn't doing anything to defeat it. Nico and Percy after visiting Luke's mother at his childhood they, also meet Hestia, goddess of the hearth and "the last Olympian". Her visions help them discover that, like Luke, Percy must get his mother's blessing, then he would need to they get a bathe in the River Styx so he can become a invencible demigod. After doing this, Percy returns to New York City. Through an elevator at the Empire State Building, that connect the olympus and the mortal world, he and his army reach modern day Olympus (the city they must defend). Percy and the others (including Annabeth and Grover) fight many battles against Kronos' monsters while the mortals of the city sleep under the spell of Morpheus. At a moment , when the battle was about to end (wining the Kronos team), the fight turn a unexpected turn, when another hero adds to the battle to fight for the Olympus. This person is Luke (enemy of Percy) fight for against Kronos Because Annabeth reminds him that he is of the good team. After this Kronos is finally defeat, but Luke trapped in his own body took out strengths to take Kronos out of his body even though he kill himself in the act. After that the gods ask Percy if he want to be inmortal and he says that no but he made the Olympus rules change as he made Zeus let gods meet with there mortal sons.
Opinion
In my opinion I think this was the best book from the hole collection. I think this because this book was the one that has more action of the hole collection, and this is how I like the books of lots of actions. At the beginning of this collection I loved the first book because it also was like this one but this one was better, the second one I did like it but not so much because it wasn't so interesting, the third one was really boring so I didn't like it the forth one was as equal of interesting as the second one and this one was great. Of in my opinion the best part of the book or the part of most emotion was when Luke and Percy unify as a team an fight against Kronos that was amazing part. Also it exist a sad part, when Luke die, it was a sad part as he had change to help the good team and he end dying. So at the end I really like this book and I enjoy it alot
